We still have five “AA” girls basketball teams who have not won a state title. That list includes; Billings Skyview, Billings Senior, Butte, Glacier and Missoula Hellgate. The Hellgate girls start four sophomores this year are one of the strongest teams in the state!

It was fun to call the Livingston – Billings Central boys game last night. You know it’s not every day at the high school level that you get to see a 6-5 P.G. Mr. Brendon Johsnon of Livingston is the real deal….he dropped 32 on the Rams last night but Billings Central still won 64-60!

The final score was Sidney 57 Miles City 34. The win for the Eagles snapped their long 36 game conference losing streak! The last time that Sidney had a conference victory was back on January 6, 2017, when they beat Glendive 35-33!

From 2012 to 2017 the Belt girls won 5 out of 6 class “C” girls state championships! Over the weekend they beat two-class “B” teams! Getting by Malta 66-24 and then the defending state champs Wolf Point 66-24! The Belt girls win-loss record the past 10 years 224-15!
