The all-class state volleyball tournament started in our state back in 2004! That year Huntley Project won in class “B”. Well if they win it all again this weekend it will be their 12th state title! Huntley enters the tournament having won their past 96 matches in a row!

Three of the four teams in the class “C” 6-man semi-finals are from the mighty Eastern Division! Saturday the Mon-Dak Thunder will host the defending state champs Wibaux. Then it’s Jordan at home up against Big Sandy. Those two teams meet in round one and Big Sandy won 44-28!
How about that all four teams in the semi-final round this weekend are a perfect 10-0! Fairfield host Manhattan/Manhattan Christian, while Eureka is home against Red Lodge!

Led by 9 seniors Cody Asbeck, Braiden Taylor, Alex Schriver, Jesse Selting, Will Smies, Ethan Neu, Hunter Whitmus and Dylan Elletson the Warriors are 9-0 and scoring more than 64 points a game! This season Fairview is trying to win it all for the first time in school history!
Well, last week it was Baker that traveled 668 miles to play at Eureka. This week Thompson Falls will go 724 miles to play at Fairview! It would be shorter for Thompson Falls to go to Portland or Salt Lake City.
