During the 48 years since girls, high school basketball started only 9 times has a school won both the girls and boys state championships during the same season. Well, Hardin has now accomplished that rare double twice.

Class “B”: Chinnook 1986, Malta 1996 and again in 1997
Class “A”: Missoula Sentinel 1986, Hellgate 1987, Helena High 1991 and Bozeman 1999
