So, people have been asking…is the 204 points put up by Hardin and Lodge Grass last week a state record. Remember I billed it as the game of the year….#1 Class “B” Lodge Grass hosting #1 Class “A” Hardin. It turned out to be blur ball at it’s best as Hardin won 112-92.
Well that 204 points is not even close to the state record for the most combined points in a Montana high school game. The record 245 points set 17 years ago when Huntley Project got by Lodge Grass in double overtime 125-120. It’s safe to say that is one record that may never be broken.
