A crowd of almost 5,000 were at Metra Park in Billings on Friday night for the Hardin-Billings Central boys and girls games. The girl’s game was so well played…one of the very best girl’s games that I have seen in years. Hardin girls won 65-55! The two girls teams entered that contest with a combined win-loss record of 21-1! The boys game…a rematch of the last two state class “A” title games! The result, an exciting double-overtime thriller as Hardin outscored Billings Central 97-95! Now that is the 7th overtime over the past six regular-season meetings.
